KNOW WOMEN'S IMAGING
As the saying goes, knowledge is power. That phrase is especially true when it comes to women’s health. Women’s Imaging at Bosque Women’s Care is pleased to give women both the knowledge and power to take charge of their health through state-of-the-art imaging services delivered in a caring and comfortable setting.
We provide comprehensive pelvic ultrasound imaging services to assist in the early detection of disease and conditions. Our department is staffed by a team of caring and highly qualified individuals including American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography registered ultrasound technologists, and physicians board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
ADVANCED PELVIC ULTRASOUND
A pelvic ultrasound is a non-invasive way to look at the uterus, ovaries, fallopian tubes and the bladder.
Ultrasound can be helpful to diagnose and monitor certain problems, such as a pelvic mass, abnormal bleeding, pelvic pain, or infertility.
Our ultrasound exams are performed by a ARDMS certified technician supervised by Dr. Carrie Swartz, a board certified gynecologist.
SALINE SONOHYSTEROGRAPHY
Saline sonohysterography or SIS (saline infusion sonogram) is a noninvasive technique using a slow infusion of sterile saline into the uterine cavity during ultrasound imaging. This procedure allows your physician to evaluate abnormalities of the endometrium (lining of the uterus) like fibroids and/or polyps. This more detailed test is often performed when your doctor is considering a procedure to treat abnormal bleeding or fertility issues.
We happily perform imaging for patients who have not been seen by our doctor or nurse practitioners. Your health care provider can order your ultrasound to be done here, just request it!
